The Gothenburg Swedes (Gothenburg, NE) softball the host Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, NE), 9-5 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Swedes (6-3) will now prepare for their bout against North Platte (North Platte, NE). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 3-7 record. In their last bout, North Platte held off Grand Island Central Catholic (Grand Island, NE), 9-4, in a non-league bout.
