In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Sequoyah Indians softball team scored a close 6-0 win over the Porter Pirates.
Coming up next, the Indians encounter the Adair Warriors (Adair, OK) in a 3A outing, on Wednesday, September 6. Sequoyah will attempt to upgrade on its 17-6 season record.
The Pirates (8-13) will now prepare for their outing against Haskell (Haskell, OK). The Haymakers enter the non-league outing with a 14-8 record. In their last outing, Haskell tipped Fairland (Fairland, OK), 4-3, in a league outing.
