Thornton Trojans (Thornton, CO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Skyview Wolverines (Thornton, CO), 17-1 in a league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Mullen for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 1. Thornton will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 15-11 non-league loss to Green Mountain (Lakewood, CO). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-7.

With the loss, Skyview falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Gateway (Aurora, CO) to battle the Olympians in a 4A/3A Colorado challenge on Tuesday, September 5. The Olympians enter the challenge with a record of 0-5.
