The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Abramson Commodores (New Orleans, LA) and the host Cohen Green Hornets (New Orleans, LA), saw Abramson's volleyball squad beat Cohen by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Abramson upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Commodores travel to Varnado (Angie, LA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 5. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

The Green Hornets now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Sarah T. Reed for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 12.
