The Albia Blue Demons volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Mt. Pleasant Panthers to 1 in the Blue Demons non-league victory on Thursday.
The Blue Demons now possess a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clarke for a South Central game on Tuesday, September 5. Albia will meet a Indians team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Central Decatur (Leon, IA). The Indians record now stands at 5-2.
The Panthers (3-7) will now prepare for their game against Fort Madison (Fort Madison, IA). The Bloodhounds enter the Southeast game with a 0-8 record.
