Ohio High School Volleyball - Alexander edged by Vinton County

August 31, 2023: Albany, OH 45710

The Vinton County Vikings held off the host Alexander Spartans volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's league test.

The Vikings now have a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Unioto for a non-league test on Saturday, September 2. Vinton County will confront a Shermans team coming off a 3-1 league win over Adena (Frankfort, OH). The Shermans record now stands at 4-0.

The Spartans (3-3) will now prepare for their test against River Valley (Bidwell, OH). The Raiders enter the Tri-Valley - Ohio test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, River Valley was nudged by Athens (The Plains, OH), 3-1, in a league test.
