North Carolina High School Volleyball - Ashe County tips St. Stephens

August 31, 2023: Hickory, NC 28601

Ashe County Huskies (West Jefferson, NC) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC), 3-2 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Huskies clash with the Avery County Vikings (Newland, NC) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, September 6. Ashe County will attempt to advance on its 7-2 season record.

With the loss, St. Stephens drops to 4-2 on the campaign. The Indians host Statesville (Statesville, NC) to clash with the Greyhounds in a Western Foothills 3A match on Tuesday, September 5. The Greyhounds come into the match with a record of 1-2. Statesville lost 3-0 in their recent league match against North Iredell (Olin, NC)
