The Franklin Quakers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Benson Tech Techmen to 0 in the Quakers league victory on Thursday.

The Quakers now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southridge for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 5. Franklin will meet a Skyhawks team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Century (Hillsboro, OR). The Skyhawks record now stands at 0-6.

The Techmen (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Roosevelt (Portland, OR). The Roughriders enter the 6A Portland Interscholastic game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Roosevelt dropped by Wells (Portland, OR), 3-0, in a league game.
