The Berea Pirates volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Lee County Bobcats to 0 in the Pirates non-league victory on Thursday.
The Pirates now possess a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Frankfort Christian Academy for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 5.
The Bobcats (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Owsley County (Booneville, KY). The Owls / Lady Owls enter the District 56 game with a 4-8 record. In their last game, Owsley County was dropped by Estill County (Irvine, KY), 3-1, in a league game.
