Virginia High School Volleyball - Fort Chiswell Bland County

The Bland County Bears volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Fort Chiswell Pioneers to 1 in the Bears league victory on Thursday.

The Bears now have a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grayson County for a Mountain Empire game on Tuesday, September 5. Bland County will meet a Blue Devils team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Giles (Pearisburg, VA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-2.

The Pioneers (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Rural Retreat (Rural Retreat, VA). The Indians enter the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Rural Retreat gained a win over George Wythe (Wytheville, VA), 3-1, in a non-league game.
