The Bourbon County Colonels volleyball team (Paris, KY), went down 3-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting George Rogers Clark Cardinals (Winchester, KY)

The Cardinals (7-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Pendleton County (Falmouth, KY). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Pendleton County defeated Dayton (Dayton, KY), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Colonels encounter the Bracken County Polar Bears (Brooksville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 5. Bourbon County will attempt to move on its 3-10 season record. The Polar Bears come into the challenge with a 6-9 record after their 2-1 league win over St. Patrick (Maysville, KY).
