The Hatch Valley Bears held off the host Chaparral Lobos volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Bears now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chaparral for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 5. Hatch Valley will confront a Lobos team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Hatch Valley (Hatch, NM). The Lobos record now stands at 2-4.
