The Coast Union Broncos volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Shandon Outlaws to 0 in the Broncos league victory on Thursday.

The Broncos now have a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Laguna Blanca for a non-league game on Friday, September 1. Coast Union will confront a Owls team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Foothill Tech (Ventura, CA). The Owls record now stands at 4-5.

The Outlaws (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Valley Christian Academy (Santa Maria, CA). The Lions enter the Coast Valley game with a 2-5 record. In their last game, Valley Christian Academy gained a win over Cuyama Valley (New Cuyama, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.
