The High Point Central Bison volleyball team (High Point, NC), was nudged 3-2 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Eastern Guilford Wildcats (Gibsonville, NC)

The Wildcats (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC). The Cougars enter the Mid-State 3A challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Rockingham County nipped Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Bison encounter the Northeast Guilford Rams (McLeansville, NC) in a Mid-State 3A challenge, on Tuesday, September 5. High Point Central will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record.
