The Model Patriots topped the visiting Frankfort Christian Academy Royals volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Patriots now have a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lexington Christian for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 5. Model will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 6-3.

The Royals (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Berea (Berea, KY). The Pirates enter the non-league test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Berea gained a win over Lee County (Beattyville, KY), 3-0, in a non-league test.
