The North Gaston Wildcats topped the host Huss Huskies volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Thursday's league test.

The Wildcats now have a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Stuart W. Cramer for a Big South 3A test on Tuesday, September 5. North Gaston will confront a Storm team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC). The Storm record now stands at 1-3.

The Huskies (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Crest (Shelby, NC). The Chargers enter the Big South 3A test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Crest gained a win over Forestview (Gastonia, NC), 3-0, in a league test.
