Next up, the Blue Devils battle the Greenback Cherokees (Greenback, TN) in a A District 2 contest, on Tuesday, September 5. Jellico will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Cherokees go into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Cosby (Cosby, TN).

With the loss, Tennessee School for the Deaf moves to 0-2 on the year. The Vikings travel to Washburn (Washburn, TN) to battle the Pirates in a A District 2 contest on Wednesday, September 6. The Pirates go into the contest with a record of 3-7. Washburn won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Eagleton College & Career Academy (Maryville, TN)
