The Middlesex Chargers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Lancaster Red Devils to 0 in the Chargers non-league victory on Thursday.

The Chargers now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to King William for a Tidewater game on Tuesday, September 5. Middlesex will meet a Cavaliers team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Nottoway (Nottoway, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 0-2.

The Red Devils (0-4) will now prepare for their game against Northampton (Eastville, VA). The Yellowjackets enter the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last bout, Northampton was topped by West Point (West Point, VA), 3-0, in a non-league bout.
