With the win, William Monroe upgrades its record to 2-2 on the year. The Dragons travel to Orange County (Orange, VA) to play the Fighting Hornets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 5. The Fighting Hornets go into the bout with a record of 1-1.

The Mountaineers now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Strasburg for a Bull Run bout on Tuesday, September 5. Madison County will play a Rams squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Riverheads (Staunton, VA). The Rams record now stands at 0-5.
