Illinois High School Volleyball - Unity Christian tips Maroa-Forsyth

August 31, 2023: Decatur, IL 62526

The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Unity Christian Lions (Decatur, IL) and the visiting Maroa-Forsyth Trojans (Maroa, IL), saw Unity Christian's volleyball squad nip Maroa-Forsyth by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Unity Christian upgrades its record to 3-1 on the year. The Lions host Central A & M (Moweaqua, IL) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 5. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Central A & M lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Pana (Pana, IL)

The Trojans now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Argenta-Oreana for a non-league bout on Monday, September 4. Maroa-Forsyth will play a Bombers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Meridian (Macon, IL). The Bombers record now stands at 3-5.
