The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Midland Mustangs (Pleasant Plains, AR) and the visiting Ridgefield Christian Warriors (Jonesboro, AR), saw Midland's volleyball squad beat Ridgefield Christian by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Midland upgrades its record to 4-0 on the year. The Mustangs host Cave City (Cave City, AR) to play the Cavemen in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 5. The Cavemen go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Cave City lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Newport (Newport, AR)

The Warriors now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Lee for a 2A East bout on Tuesday, September 5. Ridgefield Christian will play a Trojans squad coming off a 3-1 league win over KIPP Delta (Helena, AR). The Trojans record now stands at 1-2.
