The Pine City Dragons volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Milaca Wolves to 2 in the Dragons non-league victory on Thursday.
The Dragons now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Proctor for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 5. Pine City will confront a Rails team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Mabel-Canton (Mabel, MN). The Rails record now stands at 1-2.
The Wolves (0-5) will now prepare for their game against Zimmerman (Zimmerman, MN). The Thunder enter the Mississippi 8 game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Zimmerman held off Fridley (Fridley, MN), 3-0, in a non-league game.
