The Starmount Rams volleyball team (Boonville, NC), went down 3-1 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting North Stokes Vikings (Danbury, NC)
The Vikings (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Alleghany (Sparta, NC). The Trojans enter the Northwest 1A challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Alleghany went down by North Wilkes (Hays, NC), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Rams encounter the Mount Airy Granite Bears (Mount Airy, NC) in a Northwest 1A battle, on Wednesday, September 6. Starmount will attempt to advance on its 0-7 season record. The Granite Bears come into the battle with a 4-3 record after their 3-1 league win over South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC).
