The Oglethorpe County Patriots (Lexington, GA) volleyball overcame the visiting Social Circle Redskins (Social Circle, GA), 3-0 in Thursday's league outing.

With the win, Oglethorpe County upgrades its record to 12-3 on the year. The Patriots host Lake Oconee Academy (Greensboro, GA) to play the Titans in a 1A Area 5 outing on Tuesday, September 5. The Titans go into the outing with a record of 7-3. Lake Oconee Academy won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Washington-Wilkes (Washington, GA)
