North Carolina High School Volleyball - Piedmont Classical over Winston-Salem Prep

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Piedmont Classical Bobcats (Browns Summit, NC) and the host Winston-Salem Prep Phoenix (Winston-Salem, NC), saw Piedmont Classical's volleyball squad beat Winston-Salem Prep by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Piedmont Classical upgrades its record to 2-2 on the year. The Bobcats host Carver (Winston-Salem, NC) to play the Yellowjackets in a Northwest Piedmont 1A bout on Tuesday, September 5. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 0-6. Carver lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Cornerstone Charter (Greensboro, NC)

The Phoenix now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to College Prep & Leadership Academy for a Northwest Piedmont 1A bout on Tuesday, September 5. Winston-Salem Prep will play a Royals squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC). The Royals record now stands at 2-4.
