In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Poquoson Islanders volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Warhill Lions.

The Islanders (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Tabb (Yorktown, VA). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Tabb achieved victory over York (Yorktown, VA), 3-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Lions clash with the New Kent Trojans (New Kent, VA) in a Bay Rivers battle, on Tuesday, September 5. Warhill will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Trojans enter the test with a 1-1 record after their 3-0 league loss to Grafton (Yorktown, VA).
