In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host University City Centurions volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Canyon Crest Academy Ravens.
The Centurions (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Christian (El Cajon, CA). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 4-8 record. In their last challenge, Christian beat Valhalla (El Cajon, CA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Ravens meet the Santa Fe Christian Eagles (Solana Beach, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 31. Canyon Crest Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over El Capitan (Lakeside, CA).
