In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Golden West Trailblazers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Mt. Whitney Pioneers.
The Trailblazers (1-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Redwood (Visalia, CA). The Rangers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Redwood beat Mission Oak (Tulare, CA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Pioneers meet the Monache Marauders (Porterville, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 31. Mt. Whitney will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Marauders come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Exeter (Exeter, CA).
