Indiana High School Soccer - Eastern held off by Tipton

In Saturday's non-league contest, the Tipton Blue Devils (Tipton, IN) soccer team edged the host Eastern Comets (Greentown, IN), by a count of 2-1.

Next, the Blue Devils battle the Western Panthers (Russiaville, IN) in a Hoosier contest, on Tuesday, September 3. Tipton will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Panthers enter the contest with a 2-3 record after their 7-1 non-league loss to Manchester (North Manchester, IN).

The Comets (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Tri-Central (Sharpsville, IN). The Trojans enter the Hoosier Heartland contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Tri-Central held off Twin Lakes (Monticello, IN), 4-3, in a non-league contest.
