The Open Door Christian Patriots topped the host Lake Ridge Academy Royals volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Patriots face the Laurel Gators (Shaker Heights, OH) in a non-league game, on Thursday, September 5. Open Door Christian will attempt to advance on its 4-3 season record.

The Royals (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Lutheran West (Rocky River, OH). The Longhorns go into the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Lutheran West gained a win over Cuyahoga Heights (Cleveland, OH), 2-1, in a league game.
