Nebraska High School Softball - Aquinas Guardian Angels Central Catholic

The Guardian Angels Central Catholic Bluejays the visiting Aquinas Monarchs softball squad by a count of 4-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Bluejays meet the Ponca Indians (Ponca, NE) in a C District challenge, on Thursday, September 5. Guardian Angels Central Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 7-0 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 13-4 non-league win over South Sioux City (South Sioux City, NE).

The Monarchs (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Yutan-Mead (Yutan, NE). The Patriots enter the C District challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Yutan-Mead edged Syracuse (Syracuse, NE), 16-0, in a non-league challenge.
