Nebraska High School Softball - St. Cecilia bounces Douglas County West

August 31, 2024: Valley, NE 68064

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the St. Cecilia Bluehawks (Hastings, NE) and the host Douglas County West Falcon (Valley, NE), observed St. Cecilia's softball team prevail over Douglas County West by a tally of 11-1.

The Bluehawks (5-1) will now prepare for their bout against York (York, NE). The Dukes go into the non-league bout with a 5-1 record. In their last bout, York was routed by Seward (Seward, NE), 6-3, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Falcon clash with the Logan View/Scribner-Snyder (Hooper, NE) in a C District bout, on Tuesday, September 3. Douglas County West will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record. The go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to O'Neill (O'Neill, NE).
