Liberty Lancers (Colorado Springs, CO) supporters left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Fountain-Fort Carson Trojans (Fountain, CO), 19-0 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Liberty improves its record to 5-4 on the year. The Lancers host Kennedy (Denver, CO) to play the Commanders in a non-league game on Saturday, August 31. The Commanders enter the game with a record of 2-1. Kennedy lost 8-6 in their recent non-league game against Fountain-Fort Carson (Fountain, CO)

The Trojans now hold a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Pueblo East for a non-league game on Saturday, August 31. Fountain-Fort Carson will play a Eagles squad coming off a 17-1 non-league loss to Liberty (Colorado Springs, CO). The Eagles record now stands at 1-3.
