Nebraska High School Softball - Syracuse bested by Yutan-Mead

The Yutan-Mead Patriots triumphed over the host Syracuse Rockets softball squad by a count of 16-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Patriots meet the Aquinas Monarchs (David City, NE) in a C District challenge, on Tuesday, September 3. Yutan-Mead will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Monarchs enter the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Guardian Angels Central Catholic (West Point, NE).

The Rockets (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Nebraska City (Nebraska City, NE). The Pioneers enter the non-league challenge with a 8-0 record. In their last challenge, Nebraska City overcame Gross Catholic (Omaha, NE), 15-1, in a non-league challenge.
