In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Lighthouse Christian Saints volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Ambassador Lions.

The Saints (8-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Beacon Hill (Camarillo, CA). The Gryphon come into the Omega challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Beacon Hill beat Legacy Christian Academy (Valencia, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lions meet the Acaciawood Golden Eagles (Anaheim, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 31. Ambassador will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Los Amigos (Fountain Valley, CA).
