The Poth Pirates edged the host Bastrop Bears volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next up, the Pirates face the Southside Cardinals (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league game, on Saturday, August 31. Poth will attempt to advance on its 8-13 season record. The Cardinals go into the game with a 6-13 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Seguin (Seguin, TX).
