In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Red Oak Tigers.
The Bluejays (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Denver (Denver, IA). The Cyclones come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Denver edged New Hampton (New Hampton, IA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Tigers meet the Pella Dutch (Pella, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 31. Red Oak will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Dutch come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 2-0 league loss to Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IA).
