In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Lawrence County Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Fairview Eagles.

The Bulldogs (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY). The Golden Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Johnson Central beat Wolfe County (Campton, KY), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Tolsia Rebels (Fort Gay, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 31. Fairview will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Sissonville (Charleston, WV).
