Texas High School Volleyball - Fort Bend Austin edged by Fort Bend Clements

Fort Bend Clements Rangers (Sugar Land, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs (Sugar Land, TX), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Fort Bend Clements improves its record to 20-3 on the season. The Rangers travel to Friendswood (Friendswood, TX) to face the Mustangs in a non-league test on Saturday, August 31. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 16-6. Friendswood won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Fort Bend Austin (Sugar Land, TX)

The Bulldogs now own a 10-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cypress Ridge for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 3. Fort Bend Austin will face a Rams squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Mayde Creek (Houston, TX). The Rams record now stands at 3-12.
