In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Orion Chargers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Geneseo Maple Leafs.

The Chargers (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Eureka (Eureka, IL). The Hornets come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Eureka beat East Peoria (East Peoria, IL), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Maple Leafs play the Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts (Chillicothe, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 31. Geneseo will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Grey Ghosts come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Geneseo (Geneseo, IL).
