Johnson Central Golden Eagles (Paintsville, KY) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Lawrence County Bulldogs (Louisa, KY), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Johnson Central improves its record to 6-1 on the season. The Golden Eagles host Martin County (Inez, KY) to face the Cardinals in a District 57 test on Monday, September 2. The Cardinals go into the test with a record of 4-2.

The Bulldogs now own a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Non Varsity Opponent for a non-league test on Monday, September 2. Lawrence County will face a squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Cumberland Academy (Tyler, TX). The record now stands at 29-77.
