Texas High School Volleyball - Wimberley tips Johnson City

The Wimberley Texans volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Johnson City Eagles to 1 in the Texans non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Texans now possess a 21-2 record. They play next when they host Blanco for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 3. Wimberley will play a Panthers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Permian (Odessa, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 10-13.

With the loss, Johnson City drops to 15-7 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Copperas Cove (Copperas Cove, TX) to play the Bulldawgs in a non-league outing on Saturday, August 31. The Bulldawgs come into the outing with a record of 14-7. Copperas Cove won 2-1 in their recent non-league outing against Ellison (Killeen, TX)
