In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Westview Wolverines volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Kamehameha Hawai'i Warriors.

The Wolverines (9-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Torrey Pines (San Diego, CA). The Falcons come into the Coastal (NCC) challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Torrey Pines was nudged by JSerra Catholic (San Juan Capistrano, CA), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Warriors play the Christian Liberty Academy Canefire (Kea'au, HI) in a Big Island I challenge, on Tuesday, September 3. Kamehameha Hawai'i will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Canefire come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to Kamehameha Hawai'i (Kea'au, HI).
