Texas High School Volleyball - Mineola over Malakoff

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Mineola Yellowjackets (Mineola, TX) and the visiting Malakoff Tigers (Malakoff, TX), observed Mineola's volleyball team top Malakoff by a count of 2-0.

The Yellowjackets (11-9) will now prepare for their contest against Grand Saline (Grand Saline, TX). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, Grand Saline notched a victory over Athens (Athens, TX), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Tigers battle the Scurry-Rosser Wildcats (Scurry, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 31. Malakoff will attempt to move on its 6-15 season record. The Wildcats enter the contest with a 11-6 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Neches (Neches, TX).
