The Hawks (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Pine Grove (Ripley, MS). The Panthers enter the Class 2 Region 2 challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Pine Grove was dropped by Ingomar (New Albany, MS), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Rebels encounter the Lafayette Commodores (Oxford, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, August 7. Hickory Flat will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Commodores enter the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Clinton (Clinton, MS).
