Georgia High School Softball - Newton succumbs to Jasper County

In Monday's non-league test, the Jasper County Hurricanes (Monticello, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Newton Rams (Covington, GA), by a tally of 12-2.

Next, the Hurricanes clash with the Taylor County Vikings (Butler, GA) in a non-league test, on Friday, August 9. Jasper County will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Vikings go into the test with a 0-1 record after their 9-4 non-league loss to Lee County (Leesburg, GA).

The Rams (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Social Circle (Social Circle, GA). The Redskins go into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
