Newton County Academy Generals (Decatur, MS) supporters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Meridian HomeSchool FLYERS (Meridian, MS), 16-0 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Newton County Academy improves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Generals travel to Meridian HomeSchool (Meridian, MS) to play the FLYERS in a non-league game on Thursday, August 7. The FLYERS enter the game with a record of 1-2.
