The Locust Grove Wildcats softball team scored 16 runs and held the host Eagle's Landing Eagles to 2 in the Wildcats league win on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eagle's Landing Christian Academy for a 4A Region 2 battle on Thursday, August 8. Locust Grove will encounter a Chargers team coming off a 13-12 league win over Union Grove (McDonough, GA). The Chargers record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Eagle's Landing moves to 0-2 on the season. The Eagles host Union Grove (McDonough, GA) to encounter the Wolverines in a 4A Region 2 battle on Thursday, August 8.
