In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Jenkins County War Eagles softball team scored a nice 19-0 win over the Jefferson County Warriors.

The War Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Swainsboro (Swainsboro, GA). The Tigers come into the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Swainsboro notched a victory over Georgia School for Innovation & Classics (Hephzibah, GA), 11-6, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Warriors confront the Washington County Golden Hawks (Sandersville, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 2 match, on Tuesday, August 12. Jefferson County will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
