Simpson Academy Cougars (Mendenhall, MS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Park Place Christian Academy Crusaders (Pearl, MS), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host St. Aloysius for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 8.

With the loss, Park Place Christian Academy falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Simpson Academy (Mendenhall, MS) to face the Cougars in a challenge on Tuesday, September 5. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 8-5.
